Professor Yonah Alexander is Co-Director of the Inter-University Center for Legal Studies at the International Law Institute in Washington, DC. He is also Senior Fellow and Director, International Center for Terrorism Studies at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and Director, Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies, Formerly a Professor and Director of Terrorism Studies at the State
of New York and The George Washington University, Dr. Alexander was educated at the University of Chicago and Columbia University. He conducted research and lectured extensively in Turkey since the 1970’s. He has written or edited over ninety-five books, focusing on international affairs, terrorism and the the Middle East. His 2008 publications include The Evolution of US Counterterrorism Policy [Three Volumes] with Michael B. Kraft and The New Iranian Leadership: Ahmadinejad, Terrorism, Nuclear-Ambition and the Middle East with Milton Hoenig. |

Professor Edgar H. Brenner is Co-Director of the Inter-University Center for Legal Studies at the International Law Institute in Washington, DC and is Legal Counsel to the Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies. He is a graduate of the Yale Law School and is a member of the District of Colombia Bar and of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. He has lectured on legal responses to terrorism and counter-terrorism policy issues at such venues as The George Washington University, the University of Michigan Law School and the Universities of Bahcesehir and Marmara Law Schools in Istanbul, Turkey. He is Co-Editor with Yonah Alexander of Legal Aspects of Terrorism in the United States [Four Volumes], The United Kingdom’s Legal Response to Terrorism, U.S. Federal Legal Responses to Terrorism, and Terrorism and the Law. |
