Shandong Lawyer delegation meets with Audrey Winter of at the Office of the United States Trade Representative
The International Law Institute is proud to host a16-member lawyer delegation from Shandong Province, China as participants in ILI's International Trade Law program. This 3-month program was specially designed by the ILI and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Shandong Province. This training provides the delegation a unique opportunity to study WTO, International Trade Law, International Investment Agreements and State Dispute Arbitration, Commercial Arbitration and intern in Washington, DC law firms as well as interact and be instructed by top experts in their fields.
The delegation is headed by Ms. Gou Hui, Secretariat of the Shandong Lawyer Association. Also included in this esteemed delegation is Mr. Han Wei (Partner, Shandong Shuntian Law Firm), Mr. Xie Bin (Director, Shandong Cheng Gong Law Firm), Ms. Xiaoli Xiao (Partner, Shandong You Hua Law Firm), Mr. Wang Yuncheng (Sr. Partner, Shandong Qindao Law Firm), Mr. Hao Tiansheng (Sr. Partner, Shandong Bridge Law Firm), Mr. Song Xianbin (Partner, Qian Yuan Law Firm), Mr. Liu Weidong (Partner Zhongchengrenhe Law Firm), Ms. Han Zhurong (Shandong Chen Tao Law Firm), Ms. Hua Xiaoyue (Shandong Shun Xiang Law Firm), Mr. Wu Hao (Shandong Deheng Law Firm), Mr. Zhou Hao (Shandong Hongyuan Law Firm), Mr. Wang Shungyong (Shandong Deyi Junda Law Firm), Mr. Bi Wenguang (Shandong Ying Liang Tai Ye Law Firm), Ms. Han Qimei (Shandong Deheng Law Firm), and Ms. Li Xia (Shandong Dadiren Law Firm).
In addition to ILI many firms, organizations and government offices are contributing to this training program, a few of the contributing organizations include the law firms of Winston Strawn, Akin Gump, Axinn, Veltrop, Harkrider, Arnold and Porter, Capitol Trade and Sidley Austin. Members of US government offices include: the US Trade Representative's Office, US International Trade Commission, US House of Representatives, US Senate, US Department of Commerce and the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes. ILI wishes to thank these firms (and the many others not listed) in providing technical expertise for the Shandong lawyers.
