Course Advisor

Mr. Thomas Burola is an experienced Procurement professional with more than twenty years of experience. He has advised on the design and implementation of national procurement systems including web based procurement solutions and integrated management information systems to support UNCITRAL and international procurement guidelines. He has conducted countrywide procurement assessments and reviewed national procurement procedures for major consultancy services under World Bank and IADB guidelines. He has assisted Project Implementation Units to strengthen their capacity, reviewed procurement guidelines and procedures, advised on the evaluation of bids and was responsible for the preparation of procurement manuals. Mr. Burola also has extensive experience in counterpart training in procurement management and administration
