Charles Verrill has been the President of the ILI since 2002. He has held senior partner positions in two major Washington D.C. law firms and he has been practicing international trade law for over forty years. He was counsel in numerous antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings and in the arbitration of international commercial disputes, including proceedings before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Mr. Verrill teaches International Trade Law and Regulation at Georgetown University Law Center and he is a Senior Lecturing fellow at Duke University School of Law. He received his law degree from Duke University and he has been admitted by the District of Columbia Bar, U.S. Supreme Court; Court of International Trade and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is the author of numerous articles and publications on international trade law and international arbitration. |
