Course Advisor: Arthur E. Appleton
Arthur E. Appleton is a partner in the law firm of Appleton & Luff, based in Geneva, Switzerland. He was an adviser to the Korean WTO Mission during the Uruguay Round, and has consulted, taught and lectured on international trade subjects, in particular the TBT and SPS Agreements, throughout the world. He was an editor of a major new multi-volume work on the WTO, published by Springer in 2005. His Ph.D. thesis, subsequently published by Kluwer, was on the legality under the WTO of environmental labelling programs.
