Intended Audience: Public sector officials involved in managing public resources and in shaping policy through dialogue with donors and related agencies. Private sector stakeholders are also invited to attend.

COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course presents an in-depth survey of elements in public sector management that are commonly known as "good governance," causes and effects of corruption, and a comparative study of anti-corruption efforts in other countries and multilateral efforts to eradicate corruption. Additionally, it will examine the history, foundation and main provisions of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, its implications on governance and transparency worldwide, and its implementation.
