Annabelle Mullin is a rising senior at Colby College pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, with a Middle East concentration, and a minor in French and Francophone Studies. At Colby, she competes on their collegiate swimming and dive team, participates in events at the Goldfarb Center for Public Affairs, and volunteers with various organizations in the Waterville community. Annabelle spent the fall 2025 semester studying in Paris, France, where she worked as a Human Rights Intern at la Maison des Journalistes. There, she witnessed firsthand the lived experiences of refugee journalists who were in the asylum-seeking process. This experience inspired Annabelle to pursue a career in International Law and Human Rights. At the International Law Institute, she is excited to engage with and learn from foreign government officials and world leaders who seek to better understand and apply the rule of law to their varying endeavors.
