Intern

Julianna Sciscoe is from Houston Texas, and currently a junior and Paideia scholar at Southwestern University, double majoring in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Spanish. She highlights Model United Nations, Mock Trial, and the Global Young Leaders Conference as proud moments of her academic career. She is a member of Student Government, Philosophy Club, and was privileged to serve as the Executive Vice President of Communications in her sorority Zeta Tau Alpha.

Julianna is passionate about activating change both domestically and internationally and spends much of her time fundraising for the national philanthropy of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and volunteering in her local community’s early educational programs to support underprivileged families and children. She also enjoys reading, playing piano, and exploring new places with friends in her free time.

Following her undergraduate studies, Julianna plans to attend law school to first pursue a career as a criminal prosecutor, and then hopes to join the foreign service, and contribute the rest of her life towards global development and diplomacy. At the ILI, Julianna is ecstatic for the opportunity to connect with and learn from world leaders about the workings of international progress and partnership, to gain the tools to pursue her driving mission – to leave the world changed for the better.
