Megan is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder studying International Affairs, with a geographic concentration on Africa and the Middle East. She is also pursuing a minor in Arabic and a certificate in Peace, Conflict, and Security Studies. She intends to pursue law school after graduation and is eager to learn more about the role of law in international development at the ILI.
At CU Boulder, Megan serves as a student chair for the Conference on World Affairs. Her previous professional positions include a legislative internship with a Colorado State Representative and a vote entry role on the Associated Press elections team.
This past summer, Megan studied abroad in Egypt, where she took an intensive Arabic course at the American University in Cairo. She deeply enjoys traveling and hopes to explore more in the years to come. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her cat, Bob.
