Roland C. Foster

Roland C. Foster is a rising junior at the College of William & Mary, majoring in Government and Economics. In his free time, Roland enjoys playing and watching soccer and chess, and biking around Washington, DC. He is native to the Washington, DC area, having lived in Arlington his entire life.

This summer, Roland is participating in the DC Summer Institutes program offered by the William & Mary Washington Center as a fellow in the Representation & American Democracy Institute. As part of the program, he took a two-week course where he heard from several distinguished speakers on the topics of political polarization, campaigning, and the legislative process at the federal and state level. He is considering a career in law and has developed a keen interest in foreign affairs from his academic coursework; he looks forward to spending time at the intersection of both  at ILI.
