The International Law Institute (ILI) is pleased to announce its 2027 course schedule and invites interested participants and organizations to inquire about professional development training seminars in Washington, D.C., and abroad.
For more than 70 years, ILI has brought together government officials, legal and economic professionals, and private-sector leaders from around the world. Our highly interactive programs combine the expertise of leading practitioners with opportunities for participants to learn from one another and apply new approaches to the challenges they face in their home countries.
Our courses address public procurement, governance, arbitration and mediation, trade and investment, cybersecurity, anticorruption, financial management, and other areas essential to building effective institutions and supporting economic growth. New for 2027 is ILI’s course on AI Governance and Regulation, addressing an increasingly important area for governments, legal professionals, and institutions worldwide.
ILI also makes the most of its location in Washington, D.C., helping participants build valuable professional connections and gain firsthand exposure to U.S. and international institutions. Whenever possible, programs include meetings and site visits with experts at federal and state government offices, multilateral development banks, and other Washington institutions.
Participants also become part of ILI’s international alumni community of more than 40,000 experts, instructors, and past participants, providing a valuable network and resource throughout their careers.
ILI welcomes group participation. For every four participants an institution sends to one of our Washington seminars, a fifth participant may attend at no additional cost. If your institution has specific training needs, ILI can also design a customized program and deliver it in your country, drawing on our international network of experts.
