ILI Signs MOU with The Center of Legal Studies and Research, Saudi Arabia

The International Law Institute is pleased to announce that it has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Center of Legal Studies and Research in the Bureau of Exports at the Council of Ministers, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The aim of this MOU is for the Center and ILI to collaborate on areas of legal and policy research, conferences and exchanges, and developing and delivering high quality legal training programs to the Center and its stakeholders.

Since its establishment in 2018, the Center of Legal Studies and Research is charged with contributing to the development and enrichment of the legal environment in Saudi Arabia. It is a trusted source of legal reference and provides well-reasoned, practical legal solutions. It also carries out specialized training courses for leaders of legal departments within the government, contributes to the development of legislation and regulations, prepares reports and summaries about existing legislation and regulations, and provides specialized legal expertise to legal and government stakeholders throughout the Kingdom.

The ILI is a leading provider of training and technical assistance in international law, international economics, and other aspects of international relations. ILI also provides technical expertise to developing nations in drafting laws and designing their economic and government policies to further support and promote good and efficient governance through the rule of law.

Per the memorandum of cooperation, the International Law Institute will conduct benchmark studies programs with the Center of Legal Studies and Research. The ILI will also engage in exchanges, expertise, conferences, and seminars of common interest. Our first shared research paper will be about Food Security. The International Law Institute looks forward to this academic and professional relationship with the Center.
